Partners Antonio Ricci, Daniel Adensohn de Souza, and Pedro Formaggio are taking part in the Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the leading global event in the trademark field, held from May 2 to 7 in London, United Kingdom. The 148th edition of the meeting is being hosted at ExCeL London and brings together professionals and companies dedicated to brand protection and the strategic management of IP.
Founded in 1878 in New York, INTA is the leading global association devoted to the protection of trademarks and related intellectual property rights. It currently brings together more than 6,600 member organizations across 182 jurisdictions, representing approximately 38,000 professionals, including brand owners, law firms, academics, and government agencies. Its work is carried out through 19 advocacy committees, made up of volunteer members who produce studies, legislative proposals, and technical contributions for IP authorities around the world. Daniel Adensohn de Souza is a member of the Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee, one of these bodies, which worked actively with the INPI (the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) on the development of Brazil’s new guidelines for the recognition of high-renown trademarks, published in 2025.
Known for bringing together more than 10,000 professionals from over 145 jurisdictions, this year’s INTA Annual Meeting offers more than 50 educational sessions across the Law & Policy, Innovation & Technology, and Professional Development tracks, along with workshops, table topics, and extensive networking opportunities. Featured topics include the use of artificial intelligence in trademark law, the fight against counterfeiting on digital marketplaces, IP finance, non-traditional marks, geographical indications, and data protection.
